Background
This stage uses throttle bodies designed to replace the Weber IDA 3C carburetors, available from the former PMO (Porsche Mail Order), now owned by EMPI. I also considered Borla Induction's 3003 series (created by TWM). (Borla's site has a nice description of reasons why fuel injection can be superior to carburetors.) For fuel and control, I'm using the Simple Digital System EM-5, and for spark control, the SafeGuard from J&S Electronics (a different, upgraded version from what was used in Stage 2).
As of late 2024, the car is up and running with this setup. I'll build out this page once final tuning is done and the engine has more miles on it. Stay tuned! In the meantine, here's a picture of the current configuration:
