The driver's-side windshield area is rusty on this car, as typical with late model Corvairs. I fortunately was able to purchase a NOS galvanized lower windshield panel (visible in the lower left of the picture).

The remaining rust is on the dashboard panel and is fairly easy to take care of—no complex bends.

The whitish blob in the right center of the picture is factory-applied lead body filler. The factory also used lead filler on the rear glass pillar (coupes and sedans).
