Island Dweller
Lee Milazzo, of Nantucket, MA, purchased this Greenbrier in July, 2017 from <John Smith>, also hailing from the same island but who spends most of his time in Florida now. This 6-door van arrived on the island in 2010 and was likely sold new by Bob McDorman Chevrolet in Canal Winchester, Ohio (now Jeff Wyler Chevrolet of Columbus), given the original-looking dealer plate on the tailgate. Mr. McDorman was apparently quite well-known, especially by Corvette collectors. An article published after his death in 2015 said he became a Chevy franchise owner in 1965, so perhaps this Greenbrier was one of his first sales as a dealer!
Lee has an affinity for vintage haulers, especially if they are painted red. He also owns a red 1967 Jeepster and a 1972 Jeep Commando, and, as of August 2017, he also owns a 1964 Greenbrier.
